Additionally, it provides job prospects and job security through small-scale, specialized crops for select distributors. Their mission revolves around sustaining thriving farms by educating farmers about soil enrichment and the fermentation of organic teas for optimal crop nutrition. Biolley Farms engages in the cultivation of bird-friendly shade and fruit trees, as well as the nurturing of roots and spices to enhance soil health, all while contributing to the formation and preservation of a protective rainforest alliance.

At Healers Pet Care, we take pride in our partnership with Biolley Farms to produce our Golden Turmeric Paste, offering remarkable benefits for your beloved pet.

How to make Turmeric Paste for your dog?

To use this paste, we recommend you add one part powder to two parts water, heat for about five minutes over medium heat (or microwave for about two minutes), stirring occasionally to create a paste. This will also help activate the curcumin found in the paste. Keep in refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Healers Golden Paste Ingredients:

TURMERIC -

  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Turmeric contains an active compound called curcumin, which has natural anti-inflammatory properties. This can be beneficial for dogs with conditions like arthritis, joint pain, or inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Pain Relief: Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric may help alleviate pain associated with various ailments, including musculoskeletal issues and injuries.
  • Antioxidant Benefits: Curcumin is also a potent antioxidant, which can help protect cells from oxidative damage and support overall health.
  • Cognitive Health: Some studies suggest that curcumin may have neuroprotective properties, potentially aiding in maintaining cognitive function and reducing the risk of cognitive decline in aging dogs.
  • Digestive Health: Turmeric may promote healthy digestion by stimulating bile production and improving gastrointestinal function. It could be helpful for dogs with digestive issues.
  • Immune System Support: The antioxidants in turmeric can boost the immune system and help the body defend against infections and diseases.
  • Cancer Prevention: Some preliminary research indicates that curcumin may have anti-cancer properties and could potentially play a role in cancer prevention.
  • Skin and Coat Health: Turmeric may contribute to a shinier coat and healthier skin in dogs due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
  • Painful Skin Conditions: Turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties may help alleviate discomfort in dogs with skin conditions like hot spots or allergies.
  • Antibacterial Effects: Turmeric has been studied for its potential antibacterial properties, which could aid in fighting certain bacterial infections in dogs.
  • Liver Support: Curcumin may support liver health by promoting the detoxification processes in the liver.

COCONUT OIL:

  • Anti-Inflammatory: Some studies suggest that piperine may have anti-inflammatory properties, which could be beneficial for various inflammatory conditions.
  • Antioxidant: Piperine has antioxidant properties, which means it can help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body.
  • Weight Management: Some research has suggested that piperine may play a role in weight management by affecting metabolism and fat cell formation, though more studies are needed to confirm these effects.
  • Brain Health: There is some evidence to suggest that piperine may have potential benefits for cognitive function and memory.

Recommended Turmeric Dosage for Dogs:

  • Small dogs should start with about teaspoon per day.
  • Medium dogs should start with teaspoon per day.
  • Large dogs should start with 3/4 teaspoon per day.
  • Extra-large dogs should start with 1 teaspoon per day, gradually increasing to as much as 1 tablespoon.

*** It's important to note that while turmeric can be beneficial for some dogs, it should be used with caution and always consult with your veterinarian before introducing turmeric or any new supplement into your dog's diet to ensure it's safe and appropriate for your individual pet. Not all dogs may tolerate turmeric well, and it can interact with certain medications or exacerbate specific health conditions. Additionally, the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric can be low, so some formulations may be more effective than others.

Everything For Your Pets Under One Woof

One important aspect of pet care is nutrition. Feeding your pet a balanced and nutritious diet is key to keeping them healthy and energetic. Depending on the type of pet you have, their nutritional needs may vary. For example, cats are obligate carnivores and require a diet high in protein, while rabbits need a diet high in fiber. It's important to do your research and talk to your veterinarian to ensure you're feeding your pet the right type and amount of food.

Another important aspect of pet care is exercise. Just like humans, pets need regular physical activity to maintain a healthy weight and prevent boredom.

Grooming is also an important part of pet care. Regular brushing and bathing can help keep your pet's coat healthy and free of tangles and mats. Additionally, trimming your pet's nails can prevent them from becoming overgrown and causing discomfort or even injury.
